Music Music Music Music, Songs and Memories rhymes

Hi everyone, a warm welcome and thanks for dropping by to share my memories through music, regardless if they are those heartbreaking or joyful ones. I feel there is always a song(s) to harmonise with any reminiscences. One of Nirvana's most memorable songs, “come as you are”, by the late Kurt Cobain, sounds right for this weblog. You can hear the song at the “Main Menu – Article Music” and I will always remember this weblog through these words…

“Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.
As a friend, as a friend, as an old enemy.
Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours, don't be late.
Take a rest, as a friend, as an old memoria...
Memoria...
Memoria...
Memoria....”

Please bear with me, as I am still working on this weblog. By the way, you can call me Ed, your disk jockey (more appropriate, blog jockey), moreover your entertainer for the next couple of hours. Don’t worry, I am not a psychiatric, and please don’t ask me to cure your brain, cause I might make it worst. I am just a plain old Joe!

Let me tell you how I started this weblog. After many months of laziness, finally, one shining day, I found the time and effort to produce this blog. Litterly, I had to pull my big fat arse, more like dragging it to the PC. By the way, I haven’t been to bed for the past, 28 hours, 32 minutes and 10 seconds. Oh god! I am “sleepless-high-out” and my eye feels like popping out and it starting to look like a gold fish. So, please forgive me if I am writing craps. I know my fingers are typing on something, but my brain is doing those lap-dances, more like cha-cha, no! more like rumba…ah whatever!

I got held back searching for the best free design for this weblog. Sorry, I am cheap. For hours, I’ve been browsing the net, but the choices were so limited. Eventually, I came across some good ones, but too bad, it can’t be applied. Don’t ask me why, because I am still trying to figure it out. I hate those templates where you download and it turns out to be crap. What a waste of time! I presume you didn’t notice my slogan, or did you? I can’t figure out the dam codes to move the header a little bit to the right. Been trying to put that dam slogan inline (centre), but seems not to be happening. Anyone know where I’ve gone wrong? Looks like I got to live with it, but in a way the slogan looks unique like that. I think! What you think? does it? Ok, I better stop talking craps, and tell you more about this weblog. You better not be wondering off now.

Like I explained earlier, this weblog is my way of expressing and sharing the music which reminiscences those time when music had inspired, delighted and comforted me. Whenever I hear a song from the past, somehow it reminds me of something in my past, mostly a situation, someone, probably some ex’s, somewhere in time, my car, my dogs, my cats, my birds, my cow and… it goes on and on, with endless memories. Probably I am getting old. Well, I guess you get what I mean. It’s hard to forget when there is still music out there.

I love music! I was born to Elvis Presley & Cliff Richard’s songs, more like stumbled upon. When I was a little cutie and cuddly baby, my loving mother will constantly “blast” her favourite Elvis numbers so that I would fall asleep. Just imagine, Elvis singing “Jail house rock” for a lullaby song. What in hell was she thinking!? Anyway, I turn out alright, only some minor damages to the left side of my brain. Eventually, it didn’t help me to sleep because the music was too good and I started rocking to it. Not rock n roll, but actually rocking in my crib. Realising this, my mum decided to change the music to Cliff Richard, but I am still rocking. Eventually, she decided to play the good old Slim Whitman. Guess what! Naturally, I feel asleep. Don’t get me wrong, I love the old Slim, not that I dislike his music. Slim’s songs are so relaxing and it gives you a wonderful twinkling feeling to shut both your eyes and float with the tune, eventually you will fall asleep. When I was a young teenage rebel, I was one of those 80’s freaks, with Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet posters stuck all over the back of my room-door, not forgetting Madonna, and I adore INXS. At that time, we didn’t have music or video CD’s or cable TV (MTV), we only had LP’s and carbon tapes (dam expensive), but whatever it takes, one way or another, we will find those songs. I remember arguing with the “VHS-Video-Rental” shop assistant to get the latest “Top of the pops” weekly series, too bad she was also a teenage like me.

If you want to listen to some of the songs I enjoy, just go to the main menu (on your left) and click on those various colour boxes. There are about 60+ songs for the listening pleasure of everyone. You are welcome to listen but sorry mate, no downloads. I will frequently remove / post new songs and make different interesting compilations. I do get bored sometime, listening to all my songs; therefore, I've placed an empty box (in pupple) in here so you can upload and share your song(s) (MP3) for my listening pleasure. The login id = mymusic_mymemory@yahoo.com and password = music4u. You can also email me at the same address if you want me to post stories of your memories. If you have your own weblog, please write and post your memories there. Don’t forget to link it to me. So, have fun with my 60+ songs, which will take you about 3+ hours to finish listening. Cheers, for Music Music Music Pop Pop Rock Rock Country Country Music Music Music.

Note: All these songs and videos are my personal collections from years of purchasing CDs, VCDs and DVDs. They are for the listening pleasure of my friends and myself, thus, sorry I don't provide FREE downloads.
